The Richard's Sauces Story
Welcome to Vermont Made Richard's Sauces! We are a married couple of 35 years, high school sweethearts living in St. Albans, Vermont -- the same town we were born and raised in.
We purchased this great Richard's Sauces business from Martha's brother, Richard Jr. Richard, always the entrepreneur, came up with the first sauce recipe in 1991, producing and bottling the sauce in his home town of St. Albans, Vermont. He began marketing on a very small scale to local friends and restaurants in Vermont. As he saw the interest grow, he began introducing Richard's Sauces through large food shows. Truly a Success!
With the strong desire to see this family recipe continue, we purchased Richard's Sauces, with Richard still very active in making the sauce -- made and bottled as always in St. Albans, Vermont. Still a great recipe, now even more available! We developed this web site to bring the great, all natural, award-winning taste of our gourmet sauces and marinades to everyone in the Continental U.S. We know one taste will bring you back for more. And our customers tell us so!
